PARENT’S ROLE

We respect family values, traditions, and beliefs.  We support every family in our facility and work with parents to meet the needs of their children.  We expect children to attend our school ready to learn.  We thank our parents for respecting our schedule and rules. 

Leapin' Lizards has been part of the Waterford community since October 2005.  Gio and Julie are the owners and are involved daily with the school.  Both have many years of experience in education, business, personal relations, and pride themselves with creating a place where students and parents are happy to be a part of.  State guidelines are observed and implemented, staff receive professional development yearly, and we are all consistently working to make Leapin' Lizards better and better.  

WHAT WE BELIEVE

The teachers and staff at Leapin' Lizards believe that children will thrive in an environment that is safe, structured, loving, challenging, and fun.  Teachers are facilitators in a positive learning environment. 

 Every child develops at their own pace, we pride ourselves on understanding the different needs every child has.  Open communication with families helps us educate each child and allows parents to know what is happening at school.

Our Educational, Curriculum-based preschool program starts at age 2.  We offer preschool everyday. We offer morning snack, lunch, and afternoon snack for our students attending for full days. 

Leapin' Lizards is open Monday - Friday from 6:30 am - 6:00 pm.  We are not a drop-in facility, we require students to adhere to a weekly schedule (set by the parent) in order to maintain proper state mandated child to staff ratios.
